I am here in General Santos City right now, preparing for the Second Mindanao Bloggers’ Summit (MBS2) that will be held here tomorrow. The theme of the event is “Mindanawon Paminawon Intawon: Blogging the Mindanao Consciousness.” Translated in English, the theme is a plea for the Mindanaoan voice to be heard.
I will be giving a talk on “Blogging the Entrepreneurial Way of Life.” My presentation will be based on my experiences with my wedding coordination business and blog. Other speakers are the Jester In Exile (in lieu of Manuel L. Quezon III), Walter I. Balane, Hector P. Mendoza, Bobby A. Timonera, and Aileen Apolo.
Several Mindanao bloggers will also be giving some shout-outs representing their niche and their town.
The day is going to end with Sashimi Night and a Fellowship Dinner.
It’s going to be a hectic, but hopefully fruitful day tomorrow.
