I attended a fun and very touching ceremony last Friday. It was Adidas Philippines’ Wanted Old Shoes Turn Over Ceremony at the Pamulaan Center at the University of Southeastern Philippines Mintal Campus. This is the topic of my column for this week’s Ria-lity Bites.

Adidas has been collecting old shoes from their customers. In turn, the customers get huge discounts. These shoes were donated to the Pamulaan Center, an educational institution for indigenous peoples. Present during the program were Adidas Philippines President Nolet Puno and Adidas assets Rayver Cruz, Andrei Felix, and Purefoods Tender Juicy Giants Enrico Villanueva and PJ Simon. Benjamin Abadiano received the shoes in behalf of the center.

I attended the event with fellow bloggers Chattee Lara (who provided all the photos here), Blogie Robillo, Rhodilee, Richard Diongson, and James Historia. Members of the Digital Photographers Philippines – Photographers for a Cause were also around.

Many thanks to Patrick Laroco of Primetime Creatives for inviting us bloggers! And many thanks to Adidas for WOS and to the Pamulaan Center for their worthy cause! 🙂

PS Chattee and I are wanting to sit in in some of their classes. 🙂
